Projects on Purpose Inc. (POPI) is a nonprofit organization that addresses the needs of individuals designated as having a serious mental illness (SMI), including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and other conditions. These individuals face unique challenges that require tailored support. While co-occurring substance use disorder is common, it should not overshadow the primary diagnosis of the mental illness. Our focus on serious mental illness is vital for those who do not qualify for disability services through ordinary channels, ensuring that their specific needs are met with appropriate and dedicated resources.

MISSION
At Projects on Purpose Inc, our mission is to empower individuals with serious and persistent mental illness through comprehensive services, meaningful employment, secure housing, and dedicated advocacy. We are committed to fostering health, promoting equity, and building connections that support lasting well-being and inclusion in our communities.

VISION
We envision a future where people with serious and persistent mental illness live self-sufficient, purposeful lives, empowered by a community that fosters resilience, understanding, and equitable access to care. Our commitment is to transform mental health support, ensuring every individual can thrive with dignity and fulfillment.
